Beginner Bridge Classes!!!
Tuesday nights, 7-9 pm
By popular demand, beginner bridge classes are back!
A new beginner class will be starting in August - you can join in anytime.
Pay as you go - no commitment!
Learn bridge in a fun, relaxing environment.
Lessons will be held on the following Tuesday nights:
Aug 31, Sept 14, Sept 21, Sept 28, Oct 12, Oct 19, Oct 26,
Nov 2, Nov 9, Nov 16, Dec 14
Note - no class will be held on Sept 7, Oct 5, Nov 23, Nov 30, or Dec 7.
Classes will continue in January, dates to be discussed with group.
Cost is $30 per 2 hour lesson, pay as you go. Alternatively, you can purchase a
10-pack for $270 for 10 class sessions that can be used anytime, no expiration date.
Please note - classes are ongoing, and you can join in at any time.
Discounts are available for purchasing a series,
or you can just come when you can on an individual class basis.

Hi! Here's a little bit about me and my love of bridge...
I started playing bridge about 10 years ago when my parents encouraged me to learn, saying they thought I would really enjoy the game. They paid for my first bridge class, and the rest is history!
I had a blast and started reading every bridge book in sight.
I was amazed at both the simplicity and the complexities of the game,
not to mention the wonderful opportunities for that bridge offers for
fun, friendship and travel.
It is truly a game for a lifetime of learning and enjoyment!
I am now thrilled to be sharing my love of bridge with others through teaching and directing. I travel to many bridge tournaments, including most nationals, and frequently take seminars to update my teaching skills and directing credentials.
I attend the American Bridge Teachers Association convention every summer where I have the opportunity to learn from world class players and teachers such as Marty Bergen, Eddie Kantar, Bobby Wolfe, Larry Cohen, Audrey Grant and many more.
I volunteer as the Education Chair for the Northern Virginia Bridge Association,
and serve on the
By-Laws Committee for the American Bridge Teachers Association.
I am a CPA and Personal Financial Specialist. I have my own practice where I help clients with tax returns, financial planning, insurance and investment matters.
You can often find me enjoying the beautiful underwater world as a scuba diver. I have been diving for almost 30 years, and became certified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor a couple of years ago in St. Thomas, holding my own in a tough class with all of the cute 20 year old guys...
By the way - I am always looking for travel companions for fun trips to tournaments or to go on cruises. I recently returned from teaching bridge and directing bridge games on cruises to Buenos Aires, Antarctica, Japan, S Korea, China and Hong Kong!
